Gin Cocktails – Burrell’s Breeze

This post is over 90 days old and may contain outdated information, links or references.

Two words for you: pitcher drinks. A pitcher is the easiest way to serve a group of your friends and family and while the vessel is most commonly used for beer, we see no reason why it can’t also hold cocktails. A pitcher is a perfect size for an intimate summer gathering or if you’re bringing a drink to a festive party. These cocktails are full of fresh flavours and ingredients, but they can be made in big batches, refrigerated, and pulled out right when the first guests arrive.

Let us start with a Burrell’s Breeze. Created by Natalie Button a GINfluencer on Instagram, she perfectly captured summer garden parties in a pitcher cocktail suited for every occasion. Once summer has given way to winter, you can also adapt this cocktail for Halloween or winter in general by spicing it up the garnish. With Burrell’s Breeze, the party is just getting started.

Ingredients:
150ml Burrell’s Dry Gin
50ml Peach Schnapps
30ml grenadine
Freshly squeezed orange juice

Method:
1. Combine the first three ingredients in a large jug with lots of ice.
2. Top up with freshly squeezed orange juice.
3. Garnish with Peach slices or Orange slices in summer & Cloves and Cinnamon in winter.
4. Try really hard not to drink it too quickly because it is so refreshing that you may forget it is in fact alcoholic

Why this works with Burrell's

Burrell’s is a full-bodied, traditional gin full of juniper and peppery citrus, so the addition of softening peach and punchy fresh orange juice is perfect.
